*Michelle Martin's Walk for Breast Cancer* Help Us Find a Cure!

My name is Michelle Martin. I will be participating in a very special and powerful event to help fight the battle against breast cancer. From June 4-5, I will be walking 26 miles in Chicago, IL. With over 3,000 other people in the “Avon Walk for Breast Cancer”.

I have personally been affected by breast cancer. I am walking in memory of one of my grandmothers who lost the battle to breast cancer and for my other grandmother who is currently fighting this terrible disease.

I’ve agreed to raise $1,800 in pledges. Would you please consider making a fully tax-deductible pledge to help me meet my goal? I hate asking for money. So asking for this donation is somewhat difficult but I’m asking everyone I know (and even those I don’t) because it’s not for me; it’s for someone’s mother…someone’s daughter…someone’s friend. I hope you’ll share this brave journey with me in honor of the lives of loved ones lost, to celebrate breast cancer survivors, and to help find a cure for the disease. That’s why I’m walking 26 miles. To do something big-something that would challenge me as much as breast cancer challenges millions of women in the U.S.

Please...donate towards my walk. Go to the links page to donate.
Also, please sign my guestbook I would love to hear from you.

Thanks for looking at my pledgepage.
